Castaway Cafe

Castaway Cafe is secluded away from the normal tourist areas, and often discovered while taking a sunset walk along North Ka’anapali Beach. If you’re looking to cross “having a mai tai while watching the sunset between Lanai and Molokai” off your bucket list, this is the perfect place to do it.

Located on the property of the Aston Ka’anapali Villas, Castaway Cafe serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and includes a special keiki (children’s) menu for your little menehunes. While dining on macadamia nut, pineapple, and banana pancakes for breakfast, a barbecued pork sandwich for lunch, or shrimp and mango curry for dinner, you’ll see why this is one of the locals’ favorite secret spots.

Don’t be surprised when you’re asked how you found out about this hidden gem when you’re sitting among local residents sharing drinks over the bar menu’s Kobe Beef Sliders or Chorizo Nachos. Tell them that with beautiful views like this just steps from the sand, word always gets out.

Before you leave, bring a little bit of paradise home with you and grab a Castaway T-shirt and hat and a package of Castaway Cafe’s specially-made Maui-blend coffee, grown and packaged by Maui Coffee Co.

Open seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. serving resort guests, locals, and the public. Also available for wedding receptions and private functions.
