Bon Appetit! The Very Best of Manhattan at Daniel Boulud’s Spectacular French Restaurant

DANIEL is one of only a handful of New York restaurants that have been awarded a two-star Michelin rating. This sprawling French restaurant was recently given a complete overhaul, bringing it into the 21st century with a sleek, contemporary look that complements its innovative menu. As in all Daniel Boulud’s restaurants, the menu is heavily influenced by the seasons and combines contemporary French cuisine with American flavors. Overseen by Executive Chef Jean Francois Bruel, the kitchen offers a prix fixe menu as well as two seven-course tasting menus. Vegetarians are well catered to with their very own separate menu, and all menus are offered with optional wine pairings.

How would you like to linger over a cup of imported tea and change the lives of impoverished young Indian women all from the comfort of an easy chair? You don’t have to travel to India’s Darjeeling province to do that or enjoy a cup of smooth and mellow Golden Yunnan tea. Visit Atlanta’s bohemian neighborhood of Candler Park where Dr. Bombay’s Underwater Tea Party not only imports Indian tea but exports humanitarian aid through its nonprofit, The Learning Tree, which funds life scholarships for impoverished young Indian women.
