Spring break in Cabo is not just for college students… but you may need to get away from the beach party for a bit. We hopped in our jeep and drove up the Pacific Coast to Todos Santos. Having heard it is home to the one and only “Hotel California” increased our excitement for the adult getaway.

Speeding down Highway 84 through the stark beauty of the New Mexico Great Plains, my wife and I eagerly anticipated our visit to Roswell. Ah, Roswell, New Mexico. It conjures up near mythical place names and events such as Area 51, the Roswell UFO Incident, and the UFO Museum. Our plan was to visit the famous homage to UFO believers and — surprisingly — we discovered another gem of a museum that presents the art, science, history, and culture of the southeastern portion of New Mexico.
The Faire nestles in Rotary Park, Wentzville, Missouri. In this sprawling state park countless paths lead to tents and wooden storefronts brimming with shining baubles. Items include chain mail, wooden shields, steel swords, jewelry, and elf ears. Each of these displays urges you to stray from the lanes for a quick look. Toys found here appeal to both the young and old.
Are you the off the beaten path kind of traveler? Would you rather skip the tour buses and see the sights on your own terms? Seattle offers a treasure chest full of gems from Pike Place Market, Washington State Ferries, and the Space Needle to breathtaking views and more that are all on the tourist’s radar. You definitely don’t want to miss out on any of these sights that make Seattle, Seattle. However, to fulfill your inner yearning for something different, I have a suggestion for you: a side trip to an off leash dog park. Seattleites love their dogs with a passion and they prove it by the number and quality of parks that are dog friendly. A visit to an off leash dog park is so much more than just going to a park. It’s an experience.
